I’m talking about XXX: STATE OF THE UNION, ladies and germs. This fast-paced action flick is packed with high stakes and HUGE EXPLOSIONS! It’s a sequel to the first XXX (that’s triple-ex, for all you laymen) movie in 2002, where the bulky behemoth himself, Vin Diesel, played the title roll. Well fans, XXX is back, and this time he’s BLACK [African American]! Stone cold cop killa turned rap music super-star turned master thespian Ice Cube plays the new XXX- a gun toting, nunchucking, spine snapping ex-con/government trained killing machine hell-bent on maintaining peace and order in the good old US of A!
NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons (an always loud Samuel L. Jackson), fresh off the success of his last renegade recruitment, once again finds himself in need of an outsider. Gibbons and his new super-agent (buffed up Ice Cube) must track a dangerous military splinter group, led by the brilliant hobbit-faced Willem Dafoe. The group of rag-tag minutemen is conspiring to overthrow the US Government right in the heart of the nation… the nation’s capital… Washington DC… Where the US Government is! Sammy and Cube will do anything to thwart the attack on the US, including blowing up as much of it as possible!
The oscillating rings of Furvormuneria and the three suns have aligned, an ancient sign telling all who will listen to SEE THIS MOVIE! So if you’re trolling the neighborhood looking for hot action this weekend, then jump, fly, cartwheel or explode into the theaters to see XXX: STATE OF THE UNION! If you don’t, Ice Cube will kill you. JUST KIDDING! But you will miss this year’s most exciting, heart-pounding, fist-clenching, brow-sweating theater-going experience. And I am sure that you don’t want to be the only man, woman or child in your office not at the water cooler gabbing about this high-octane fun-fest!
