Actually, I do think that the pheasent thing is pretty cool. I got upset with the giraffe guys becuase I could sniff kefira and irreverance. I felt they were trying to make problems where there are none so they could turn around and be secretly frustrated with Yiddishkeit. The pheasent guys are the opposite. They had a taaveh and in the process of fulfilling it, they clarified a halacha and removed a klipah from the world (see Igeres haKodesh lhovin raya mahemna)
there’s only one thing you missed, buddy: he’s the same guy! (and actually, i thought the last piece was much weirder… to serve so many types of animals, at one party, based on the testimonies of some old weird yeminites! it was cool that they got an exemption to eat protected species, though.)
