why is it that those individuals compelled to build death rays tend to only think of the destructive applications? … i wonder if it makes good veggie dogs.

I think matt makes a good point about the need to focus on the positive, peace-making functions of a death-ray.
PS. That death-ray nerd is one charming nerd. Seriously, I really enjoyed his writing style- it lacked the usual arrogance of the common nerd.

i liked his “warning,” in response to Dovid’s comment on his writing style. they need to make a good veggie dog, in comment to matt. i like-a the veggie dogs.

the first death ray
the dovid notes that the solar death ray(first mentioned here)-man has been busy. jono adds this gem-of-a-link to an MIT project to recreate archimedes’ [mythical?] solar death ray, which seems to be death-ray-man’s motivation, at least for this target…
